A generous grant by the Helmsley Foundation has allowed the establishment of the Stem Cell Core Facility at Columbia University, a new multi-service production and characterization facility at Columbia University Medical Center. The Stem Cell Core Facility is now fully operational. We offer various services to our users, including generation, maintenance and supply of pluripotent stem cell lines as well as functional, mature, highly purified cardiac and neural-derived cell types derived from them. We also offer support for the functional evaluation of these cells through Ca2+ imaging and electrophysiology-based characterization studies. We also offer gene editing services.
